Master description
The Master’s Degree in Political Science is organised into one full-time academic year (60 ECTS). The first semester concentrates the core methodological and theoretical training: Research Design in Political Science (A1), Quantitative and Qualitative Methods for Data Collection and Analysis (A2), Theory, Practice and Challenges of Democracy (A3), Public Opinion and Political Behaviour (A4), and Public Policy Management and Analysis (A5).
The second semester offers elective and specialisation courses: Advanced Topics in Comparative Politics and Institutions (A6), Advanced Topics in Political Behaviour and Sociopolitical Marketing (A7), Multilevel Governance in the European Union (A8), Migration Policies and Social Integration (A9), and Redistributive Policies and Comparative Welfare States (A10).
The programme culminates with the preparation and defence of the Master’s Thesis (A11), which integrates the competences acquired.
