Access
Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.Admission requirements
To be admitted, the following requirements must be met:
- Holding one of the following degrees: Bachelor’s, Licentiate or Diploma in the field of Health Sciences (Veterinary Medicine, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Food Science and Technology, Animal Science and Health, Biomedicine, Psychology…) and Life Sciences (Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, Ecology, Biodiversity, Environmental Sciences, Agronomic Engineering, Forestry…) or equivalent.
- As a mandatory requirement, official documentation must be submitted to certify at least a B2 level of English (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), except in cases where it is the applicant’s native language or they can certify a University Degree completed in English.
- Submission of a motivation letter written by the student.
All requirements must be documented.
Selection criteria
Should the number of valid applications be higher than that of places on offer, these will be allocated according to a procedure that, to a great extent, is common to all official master's degree programmes at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.The criteria applied in this procedure include the following.
- Academic Transcript (60%).
- Curriculum vitae. Professional experience and studies in subjects related to the master's degree (20%)
- Personal interview to evaluate the applicant's degree of motivation and expectations (10%).
- Certified English level C1 or above on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (10%).
